国際墨画会水曜英語対応教室朝顔を描く

国際墨画会水曜英語対応教室生徒さん作品。朝顔を描きました。顔彩を使った華やかで可憐な朝顔の作品がたくさんできました。
Student works from the Wednesday English-language class of the International Sumi-e Association.
We painted morning glories, using gansai to create bright and delicate expressions of the flowers.

用賀教室朝顔を描く

金曜と日曜に開催している用賀教室の、生徒さん作品。朝顔を描きました。ツルの自由な動きや余白を生かし、構図の工夫が活きるモチーフです。皆さん素敵な作品ができました☺️

Student works from the Yoga class, held on Fridays and Sundays.
This lesson focused on morning glories — a motif where the free-flowing movement of the vines and the use of negative space bring the composition to life.

西日暮里日曜教室朝顔を描く

西日暮里日曜教室生徒さん作品。朝顔を描きました。線描きと面描き、2種類の描き方を学びます。色の組み合わせが綺麗です。
Sunday class in Nishi-Nippori — student work.
We painted morning glories today, learning two approaches: line-based brushwork and surface-based shading. The colour combinations turned out beautifully.

西日暮里教室生徒さんのグループ展

西日暮里教室の生徒さん・清水さんのグループ展に伺いました。
清水さんは大の猫好きで、今回も愛情あふれる猫の作品を出品されていました☺️

心から好きなものを描くと、こんなにも画面が生き生きするのだと改めて思います。

I visited a group exhibition by Shimizu-san, one of my students from the Nishinippori class.
She is a devoted cat lover, and her works were once again filled with warmth and affection for her beloved cats.

Seeing her pieces reminded me how vividly a painting can come to life when it is created from the heart, with genuine love for the subject.

イギリスからの生徒さん

イギリスからいらしたお二人。1月のロンドン・アートフェアでキツネの作品をご覧になったことがご縁で、今回の日本旅行を機にプライベートレッスンにお越しくださいました。ご一緒に参加されたご友人は、日本のインターナショナルスクールでアートの先生をしていらっしゃるとのこと。お二人とも水墨画は初めてとのことでしたが、墨色の出し方や筆使いがとてもお上手で、素敵な竹の作品が完成しました。

Lovely guests from the UK. I was very happy to learn that Hanna had seen my fox paintings at the London Art Fair in January and decided to visit for a private lesson while travelling in Japan. She was joined by her friend Zoe, who is an art teacher at an international school here in Japan.
